Mitth'era'liatra

One fact has always remained constant: the Chiss must be approached from a position of strength and respect. One must have strength, for the Chiss will deal only with those capable of keeping their promises. One must have respect, for the Chiss must believe those promises will be kept.

Name: Mitth'era'liatra
Core Name: Therali
Species: Chiss
Homeworld: Csilla
Occupation: Shadow leader of Zerek Besh
Age: ???
Height: 165 cm (5'5")
Weight: 59kg (130 lbs)

Born on Csilla to the Mitth, one of the Nine Ruling Families of the Chiss Ascendancy, Therali grew up in a seat of both power and prestige. Granddaughter to the former Patriarch, Mitth'oor'aki, it was assumed that she would eventually join the Syndicure as a diplomat. However fate, and Thooraki, had different plans. Having been born with an innate ability to interface with and interrupt technology and faced with ever growing war with the Grysk, Therali was sent instead to the recently revived Infiltrator School at Taharim Academy where she graduated with the highest marks recorded. From there, she she was deployed frequently to gather information on the Grysk that would aid the Chiss in their war against them.

She had great success in the Ascendancy but it was soon made apparent that the Grysk were no longer simply operating in the Chaos-overtures to separatist factions in Lesser Space during the Clone Wars by the Grysk, listening posts had been established in remote sectors of Lesser Space, and Outer Rim worlds were being utilized as Grysk staging grounds for their ongoing attempts to kidnap sky-walkers. With this information in mind, the Ascendancy sent Therali to Lesser Space with one mission-to link up with her long 'exiled' cousin Mitth'raw'nuruodo and assist him in his assessment of potential allies against the Grysk. She did this the best way she knew how: by removing the leadership from the Zerek Besh and establishing it as her own criminal cartel. She currently runs it from the shadows, preferring to let administrators handle the day-to-day business of running a cartel while she does what she does best: makes herself a professional nuisance to the Empire and all who encounter her.

Zerek Besh

Zerek Besh is an underworld based intelligence organization built on the foundation of what was once the Imperially-funded cartel by the same name. Almost every information broker, infiltrator, and spy that does work for anyone in the galaxy outside of the Empire works for Zerek Besh. It boasts a large number of former ISB agents as well as a number of Chiss operatives sent from the Ascendancy to aid the Rebellion in dismantling the Empire's own information networks through both sabotage and feeding intel to Rebel cells.Therali works primarily out of a series of listening posts long since abandoned by the Empire-remnants of Republic, Separatist, and Zerek Besh stations. Her primary residence is on the moon of Pantora in the shell of an old Republic post that she has been outfitting with a variety of communications and monitoring equipment.

An Operative's Equipment

The Chiss Infiltrators are based heavily on a much older class of stealth operative known as the Agent. Drawn from ancient records of when the Ascendancy had temporarily allied with the Sith Empire during the Age of the Old Republic, the Agent has been reimagined and modernized into the Infiltrator Corps it is known as today. The class is drawn directly from Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO for those interested in learning more.

Equipment:
Therali's loadout includes:

  • A personal stealth field generator.

  • Veils, a personal disguise kit that can generate a completely unique disguise or replicate another's features.

  • A variety of close combat weapons, including shock batons, lightsabers, and vibroblades.

  • A variety of stimms, quick acting bacta shots, and a number of pharmaceuticals meant for emergency first aid.

The Vestani

The Vestani is an Nssis-Class Clawcraft designed by the Chiss Ascendancy based off of either leaked or stolen TIE Defender plans. It functions as a long-range fighter that has hyperspace (and thus sky-walking) and shield capabilities. It is Therali's personal craft and is a modified Nssis-Class that comes equipped with a Grysk stealth field generator.

Ozyly-Esehembo

Also known as a 'sky-walker', an ozyly-esehembo serves a vital role in the Chiss Expeditionary Defense Force as ship navigators. Possessed of what the Chiss refer to as the Third Sight, they guide entire vessels through the ever-changing starscape of the Chaos (known as the Unknown Regions in the wider galaxy). The Chaos has no stable hyperspace lanes, so hyperspace jumps must be short and limited in range. To date, only Chiss females seem to be born with the Third Sight and few retain it past puberty. Therali learned how to use it after she grew to adulthood and few inside the Ascendancy know she is capable of it.

That said, Therali is Force-sensitive. Her primary abilities are:

  • Technomancy: the ability to manipulate tech, generally to disrupt its operation

  • Third Sight: a version of precognition that she uses to both traverse the stars and predict her enemies in combat

  • Physical Modification: the ability to bolster physical traits, allowing her to jump higher, dodge faster, and hit harder. When paired with both her technomancy and her Third Sight, she becomes highly unpredictable in combat.

Guidelines

These are more like 'guidelines' than actual rules...Please note the following:

  • Therali's pronouns are she/her/they/them.

  • Lewd focused accounts should just move on. DNI.

  • Therali is an adult, as is her writer. Minors do not interact.

  • If you cannot be bothered to actually read the information provided here and behave as if Therali is not actually a spy or dangerous, then DNI.

Personality

Therali, for all of her good looks, is a menace. She is flippant, aloof, and arrogant, preferring her own company to that of many. She is sassy and tricksy and difficult to pin down when she doesn't want to be. Few can call her acquaintance, fewer still can call her friend. She thrives in chaos and seeks to sow it whenever and wherever she can-after all, chaos is the best cover a spy could ask for.If pressed, this changes. She becomes dangerously focused and quiet. While she prefers to control a situation through guile and charisma, she is not afraid to resort to violence-and she is remarkably good at it. She has an arsenal of weapons at her immediate disposal and will employ whatever is necessary to do her job and escape.
